Fluffy Pancakes with Apples
Ingredients
- 250 g natural yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
- 1 and 1/3 cups wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1/2 apple
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
- Pour yogurt into a bowl, crack eggs (room temperature), add melted butter or oil. Mix with a spoon until the ingredients combine.
- Pour flour with baking powder, baking soda, and powdered sugar and vanilla sugar into another bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Transfer to the bowl with yogurt and eggs and slowly mix only until the ingredients combine into a uniform mass.
- Peel half an apple, cut into 2 quarters, remove the seed cavities, cut on a board into thin slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Heat a skillet (such as a pancake skillet) and spread about 2 flat spoons of batter keeping spacing (pancakes will rise during frying). Previously you can grease the skillet with butter or oil.
- Fry on moderate heat for about 2 minutes until they rise and are lightly browned. In the meantime, place 2-3 apple slices on top of the pancakes.
- Flip to the other side using a spatula and fry for about 2 more minutes. During frying you can add more fat to the skillet.
