Curd Cheese Omelette with Apples
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 125 g curd cheese
- 1 vanilla sugar or 1.5 tablespoons sugar
- 20 g (2 level tablespoons) wheat flour
- 20 g (2 level tablespoons) potato starch or flour
- 125 g apple (1 small)
- 2 teaspoons butter for frying
Preparation
- Blend the eggs, curd cheese, vanilla sugar, wheat flour and potato starch in a food processor or with a blender.
- Add the peeled and diced apple and mix.
- Heat a small 16-18 cm diameter pan and grease it with 1 teaspoon of butter.
- Spread the curd cheese mixture with apples, distribute over the entire pan surface, cover with a lid and fry on medium-low heat for about 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Flip to the other side (*see tip at the bottom), add the remaining butter at the edge of the pan and repeat frying under the lid.

Tips
* The omelette is best flipped using a plate - cover the omelette with a plate, carefully flip the pan with the omelette "upside down" so the omelette lands on the plate. Now slide the omelette from the plate back onto the pan and fry from the other side.
