4 slices of bread e.g. with a thick and crispy crust like Guinness, whole wheat or plain without additions
150-200 g fried and roasted beef tenderloin (e.g. like in this recipe)
4 lettuce leaves
Truffle mayonnaise:
2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1-2 teaspoons truffle oil
Mustard sauce:
2 tablespoons French whole grain mustard
1 teaspoon chili flakes or 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika powder (to taste)
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or mayonnaise
Preparation
Brown the beef tenderloin on both sides and finish cooking in the oven (e.g. like in this recipe). Mix all ingredients for truffle mayonnaise and mustard sauce in separate bowls, adding sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
Spread truffle mayonnaise on two slices of bread and mustard sauce on two slices. Place lettuce and beef tenderloin slices on the slices with mayonnaise, cover with bread spread with mustard sauce. Cut in half and serve. Enjoy!
